This is the Studio

My name is Gray Davidson and I am the artist behind the Apotheosis Jewlery Arts and design studio. If you’re interested in my sculpture work, you can find it over on my art website. My jewelry practice is located in beautiful Berkeley, California where I have been working in silver, brass and stainless steel since 2015.

Apotheosis designs are bold, contemporary and industrial, with subtle influence from Japanese, Andalusian, Art Nouveau and Art Deco visual languages. I admire elegance, minimalism, detail, scope, mystery and honesty and I work hard to wrap each of these values into every piece I create.

I make earrings, pendants, and bracelets — small wearable objects that hold meaning. Each piece is carefully composed to reflect one place and time, one image or story from my travels and slow observations about the world.

I take a limited number of commission requests. Reach me at hello@apotheosisarts.com or via this site’s contact form.
